Vogue World: Hollywood will launch a movie-scale showcase with a high-end production crew backing it. Emmy and Grammy-winning director Mark A. Ritchie will oversee the show, with choreography by Fatima Robinson, known for working with Beyoncé and Lenny Kravitz.

Acclaimed designer Jess Gonchor (of Little Women and The Devil Wears Prada fame) heads set design. Meanwhile, Pat McGrath Labs returns as the official makeup partner. Since its launch in 2022, the Vogue World series has reinvented itself annually. The first New York event combined a street fair with a runway parade and a performance by Lil Nas X.

In 2023, London’s edition became a theatrical celebration of the city’s arts, featuring Annie Lennox, the “Supers” reunion, and Shakespeare readings by Tom Sturridge and Sophie Okonedo. Paris hosted the 2024 show, featuring a sports theme inspired by the Summer Olympics, with athletes, models on horseback, and a live act by Bad Bunny at Place Vendôme.

The occasion will feature some of cinema’s greatest costume designers. Anna Wintour announced the event in Vogue Scandanavia as below:

“A one-night-only show with a huge cast of models and actors, setting great film costumes next to brilliant fashion collections.”

They include Colleen Atwood, Milena Canonero, Ruth E. Carter, Catherine Martin, Arianne Phillips, Sandy Powell, Jacqueline West, and Shirley Kurata. Juan Costa Paz will serve as creative director, Alex Harrington will lead fashion and styling, and Dame Pat McGrath will oversee all makeup design.

Wintour herself, along with Mark Guiducci and Lisa Love, will operate the event overall. The show will donate 100% of ticket proceeds to the Entertainment Community Fund (E.C.F.). It will aid costume professionals impacted by the Los Angeles wildfires.

Vogue will collaborate with the Costume Designers Guild and E.C.F. to identify recipients. Paramount Pictures, on the other front, has also pledged an additional contribution. So far, Vogue World has raised over $3 million for local communities since its launch.
