tvN confirms to hold a Lovely Runner-inspired pop-up store in Seoul
Lovely Runner has become one of the most talked about ongoing dramas on social media, due to its stellar cast including Byeon Woo-seok, Kim Hye-yoon, Song Geon-hee, N.flying's Lee Seung-hyub, and more. Inspired by the webtoon named Tomorrow's Best illustrated by author Doong Doong, the drama is directed by Kim Tae-yeop and Yoon Jong-ho, with a screenplay by Lee Shi-eun.
The rom-com drama follows the story of Ryu Sun-jae, a top star who loses his life due to a tragic event. Meanwhile, Im Sol goes back 15 years in time to change the trajectory of her favorite idol Ryu Sun-jae's life, and prevent events that could lead to his tragic death.
With the drama's popularity soaring, South Korean media outlet OSEN reported that the production team is in talks to launch a pop-up store. OSEN reported on May 16, that the pop-up store aims to offer visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the wholesome moments depicted in the show. The store will reportedly feature a couple of merchandise and goods with reference to the characters and scenes in the drama.
On May 17, tvN shared an official poster on their Instagram page, confirming the Lovely Runner-inspired store opening in Seoul. The pop-up store is scheduled to be held at the Hyundai Seoul B2F Iconic Pop-up Zone, from Thursday, May 23, 2024, to Wednesday, May 29, 2024. On weekdays, the store will be open from 10:30 am KST to 8:00 pm KST, however, on the weekends the store will be open from 10:30 pm KST to 8:30 pm KST.

On May 17, the reports suggested a group-watching event for the finale episode of Lovely Runner where the cast members alongside the fans will gather together. Actors like Byeon Woo-seok, Kim Hye-yoon, Song Geon-hee, and N.flying's Lee Seung-hyub are expected to attend the event.
