Lovely Runner writer Lee Si-eun penned a handwritten letter shared by the Bon Factory Team as the drama concluded its finale episode on May 28. In this letter, the writer expressed her thoughts and emotions about the drama while also extending her gratitude to the viewers and fans who enjoyed and gave love to the rom-com series.
The drama was adapted from a popular webtoon named Tomorrow's Best, illustrated by author Doong Doong; meanwhile, Lee Si-eun was in charge of the screenwriting of the drama. The screenwriter modified some of the parts of the story, including adding a second lead character played by Song Geon-hee, setting it apart from the webtoon, which has a separate fanbase.
According to the letter, Lee Si-eun worked on the tvN time slip drama for quite a long time, and she felt that it was surreal to see the show air and receive so much attention. Moreover, the writer felt a void inside now that the show had concluded.

However, details regarding the cast members who would go on the trip have not been confirmed. The production team is coordinating with the actors to match the schedule for the trip.
A Sports Chosun report dated June 11 stated that Byeon Woo-seok's agency, Varo Entertainment confirmed that the Record of Youth actor will not be able to go to Phuket for the trip due to his ongoing Asia fan meeting tour. Meanwhile, Kim Hye-yoon's agency, Artist Company, stated that they are adjusting her schedule for the trip.
