On June 11, 2025, BTS' Taehyung aka V posted a reunion picture with his Wooga squad on his Instagram account, @thv. In the picture, the Wooga squad members, comprising V, Park Hyung-sik, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, and Peakboy, were seen in matching white tees.
“Hwanyeonghae,” which means “Welcome” in Korean, was printed on their tees. The squad posed for a photo just like the one they clicked back in 2023 when V was getting enlisted. Same setup, same order, with Taehyung in the epicenter similarly.

This comes right after the K-pop idol was officially released from military duty on June 10, 2025, alongside his bandmate RM. The exit happened at the 15th Infantry base in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do. The latest shot went viral on X as followers grew emotional about the long-expected reunion.

Inside Wooga squad: From co-stars to chosen family
BTS vocalist V stepped into acting through the 2016 historical series Hwarang, where he first connected with actors Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik. The trio developed a strong rapport on set, which later extended into a five-member circle now commonly referred to as the “Wooga Squad.”
Their crew title “Wooga” originates from the Korean phrase “Woori-ga Gajok-inka?," translating to “Are we relatives?”, reflecting their close companionship. Park Seo-joon eventually introduced his acting colleagues to Choi Woo-shik and rapper Peakboy.
In 2022, all five members featured in the Disney+ unscripted program In the Soop: Friendcation, which followed their four-day leisure trip to Goseong. The series showcased their daily interactions and long-standing association off the set.
