After a long wait, Deadpool and Wolverine's first trailer is finally here, and the reaction to the same is nothing short of astonishing. In what has been a relatively weak couple of years for the grand MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), this third Ryan Reynolds film seems to be a way out of the superhero fatigue and back into the lively world of Marvel Comics.

Not only is the prospect of seeing the loudmouth mercenary Deadpool and his biggest frenemy Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) a huge attraction, but the trailer also promises many hidden connections to the MCU and possibly a very interesting plot that will finally see the X-Men franchise become a part of the Marvel ensemble.

All combined, this has served something exquisite that fans have been waiting for, for a long time now. Many fans came out to express their excitement across almost all social media platforms, but most visibly on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Deadpool and Wolverine trailer gives a glimpse at all that Marvel could be

The biggest appeal of the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer is perhaps its integrated environment that includes both the X-Men universe and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is also quite easy to imagine the multiple meta-references that are about to come our way, given that the universes will be integrated now.

The stylish and detailed trailer sees Deadpool going to talk to Wolverine, who is wallowing in his despair, much like we have seen him in films like Days of Future Past. The two soon embark on an adventure to salvage "this" world after Logan, who is depicted in the film, allegedly failed to save his world.

The incredibly well-edited trailer gives a glimpse of the world and the story without explicitly revealing much about the plot, which has further increased the curiosity of fans.

This seems to be the consensus for most as they were waiting for one of the films to take the MCU back on track. Another user posted:

"AAAAAAHHDHSJSHSJSH IM SO READY"

This gives a glimpse into the sheer excitement surrounding the movie.

Many users also referred to the easter eggs spread all over the trailer, which seems to give an impression of a stacked universe inside. @MJ54 commented:

"Was that a giant Ant Man helmet?? And Doctor Strange portal?!?!"

Both of these things were indeed part of the trailer. Yet another user predicted:

"This movie is gonna break box office records."

Everything combined, it seems that a massive fanbase will be awaiting Deadpool and Wolverine when it premieres on July 26, 2024. Stay tuned for more updates.
