A rumor surfaced on X that internet personality, singer, and actress Addison Rae reportedly shared a screenshot of rapper and record producer Ken Carson sliding into her DMs. The claim first appeared on the Daily Noud (@DailyNoud) X page on June 8, 2025, with the caption stating that Carson failed after shooting his shot with Rae.

“Ken Carson shoots his shot with Addison Rae and FAILS," the caption read.

An alleged screenshot accompanied the post and showed Carson asking Rae, “You smoke?” In response, she wrote, “Nope.” Then Ken asked, “What u tryna do tn?” to which Addison replied, “idk.” Finally, when the rapper wrote, “u dtf?” the singer further responded by writing “No.”

The alleged text exchange ended with Ken Carson writing, “dam,” followed by a black heart emoji. On top of the screenshot, Addison Rae seemingly expressed her confusion at the interaction by writing, “Who is this?”

The post by Daily Noud appeared to be an Instagram Story from the Thanksgiving actress exposing Ken Carson for reportedly sliding into her DMs.

While the post garnered huge traction online and amassed over 3.5 million views at the time of writing, the now-viral claim is fake. Addison Rae did not share any IG Story revealing her DM exchange with Ken Carson, nor is there any credible source or evidence to prove that the duo ever interacted online or otherwise.

Additionally, the Daily Noud page is known for its parodical content uploaded for virality. The account bio on X even shares a disclaimer that claims that their content has "fake stories."

“#1 Source For PARODY Hip-Hop News | Follow For Viral Content | These are fake stories | Not affiliated with @DailyLoud,” it reads.

Thus, the viral claim can be debunked as false and fabricated, meant for sensationalism. Meanwhile, the same satirical claim was shared by the @starbeamonline account on Instagram and the r/playboicarti community forum on Reddit.
