According to AllHipHop's June 8, 2025, report, Gramz, also known as Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, had a deadline of June 12, 2025, to retain counsel. The blogger enlisted a federal and a local attorney for her legal team. The publication stated that Ronda Dixon will handle electronic filings, while attorney Jeremy McLymont of Miami's AsiliA Law Firm submitted his notice of appearance as co-counsel to Dixon.

For the unversed, Megan Thee Stallion sued Milagro Gramz, alleging harassment and "churning out falsehoods" regarding the 2020 incident where Tory Lanez shot her in the feet. In the lawsuit filed on October 30, 2024, Megan's lawyers accused Gramz of acting as Tory Lanez's "paid surrogate" and spreading lies on Lanez's behalf against the Mamushi rapper.

Additionally, Megan Thee Stallion claimed that Milagro Gramz shared a "deepfake pornographic video" of her on X, questioned her mental status, accused her of having a severe drinking problem, and labeled her a "lying a** h*e" and "angry Black woman."

The court documents obtained by PEOPLE mention that the blogger is accused of falsely claiming that the firearm used by Tory Lanez to shoot Megan was not produced during the trial, citing that it was missing. In contrast, Megan's lawyers stated that the firearm was in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Megan has demanded a jury trial, seeking monetary damages in addition to attorney fees and costs in her lawsuit against Milagro Gramz. The singer also seeks a permanent injunction barring the blogger from "any future use or publication of intimate visual depictions of her."

Details of Megan Thee Stallion's gag order on Milagro Gramz explored

According to Law360's June 4, 2025, report concerning Megan Thee Stallion's defamation lawsuit against Milagro Gramz, US Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid issued a gag order against the blogger.

A gag order restrains a person from sharing information or commenting on a particular matter at the judge's direction. This means Milagro can no longer discuss anything related to Megan in the context of Tory Lanez's case, who is currently serving a decade-long prison sentence after being found guilty in the incident.

Judge Reid imposed the same restraint on Megan, noting that since Milagro is facing an accusation of defaming the rapper, the judge would have to "at least contain the information that's going around in social media from you right now on this case." The judge added:

"And the plaintiff would be required to do the same. If she were posting about you or this case, that would be highly inappropriate as well."

Shortly after filing the lawsuit against Milagro Gramz in 2024, Megan Thee Stallion issued a statement expressing her desire to hold bloggers accountable for prolonged harassment, cyberbullying, and the spread of misinformation about her personal and professional life.

"I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists. It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods," Megan said.

In other news, Megan Thee Stallion recently expressed her discontent over the assertion that Tory Lanez is not guilty of shooting her. In May 2025, Tory's attorneys claimed that he did not receive a fair trial. They also alleged that it was Megan's former friend, Kelsey Harris, who fired at her.

In a TikTok post following the new developments in the shooting case, Megan requested that people stop spreading the narrative, as it makes her relive the incident repeatedly. She also emphasized that it was Tory Lanez who shot her.
