Diddy’s ex-assistant, Jonathan Perez, is the latest witness to take the stand to testify against the rapper on June 13, 2025. Perez recalled in his testimony that he had once reportedly discovered an explicit video of Jane, the former lover of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
According to the latest trial updates from CNN, the clip featured Jane allegedly getting involved in a s*xual act. Jonathan claimed that he found the video on an iPad that the staff members of Sean Combs frequently used, and the artist was also spotted in the background.
Perez recalled the conversation between them, where Jonathan told Sean Combs:
“Hey, I found something on the iPad that the staff uses. I can lock it up for you. I can, you can delete it. I just wanted you to make the decision.”
Jonathan testified in court that he immediately approached Sean and his assistant Kristina Khorram about the video. He claimed that Combs reportedly appeared surprised. However, Perez was advised by Khorram to provide her with the video in case a similar situation happened again, so she could speak to Sean about it.
According to CNN, Khorram contacted Jonathan a few months later, informing the latter that an anonymous individual, who was not working for Sean’s company, got in touch with her on the call and talked about the video. Furthermore, Khorram questioned Perez on how he had managed to find the clip.
Notably, the entire conversation was recorded on Khorram’s phone, and it was eventually obtained last year. While Perez was giving his testimony in court, the recording was played for the jury. In the recording, Jonathan told Kristina that the video was initially discovered by a videographer.
Jonathan Perez said that he spoke to Diddy after finding the video
The call recording of Jonathan Perez and Kristina Khorram featured the latter asking about the events leading to the discovery of Jane’s video. As mentioned, Kristina had informed Perez that someone from outside had spoken to her about the video.
Jonathan Perez also told Khorram that Diddy deleted the clip after the duo spoke to each other, as reported by CNN. Perez then began discussing an investigation on the call and additionally informed Kristina that he and Sean did not address anything further about Jane’s video.
Perez claimed that Kristina mentioned Diddy was willing to investigate how the video ended up on the iPad. He also mentioned on the call that Sean Combs was having doubts that his phone data was possibly compromised.
"KK (Khorram) mentioned that Combs wanted an investigation to happen regarding the video and how it got on that device."
As per CNN, Perez stated during the conversation that Jane’s video might have been recorded directly on the iPad. He continued his testimony by saying that Sean’s chef, Chef K, was present when the video was discovered. However, the chef did not speak to anyone, as he did not expect the video to become a significant matter someday.
Furthermore, Perez testified that he was approached by Sean’s head of security, Faheem Muhammad, a few days after he spoke to Kristina Khorram. Jonathan told the court that Muhammad was also questioning him about how he had found the video. He claimed that he repeated everything that he told Khorram to Faheem.
Before Jonathan Perez took to the stand, Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Jane testified against him. CNN stated that Judge Arun Subramanian has signed an immunity order for Perez, based on which he is speaking at the court.
