Speaking with Extra on June 12, Ja Rule, whose real name is Jeffrey Bruce Atkins, said:

“It’s all kind of shocking, seeing it, you know. Me knowing Diddy and what I know of Diddy, you know, I’m looking at some of this stuff and I’m like, ‘Wow, I didn’t know he was capable of some of these things.’”

He also asserted that he wasn't part of the alleged parties, saying:

“I’ve never partied with that side of him. I’ve never seen that side. I’ve never seen Diddy be violent, so I don’t know that side of him, so it’s like when you’re watching all of this, it’s kind of unraveling.”

Combs is currently facing trial and faces five criminal charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He said [18:00 onwards]:

“It’s another Black man in this industry going through some unfortunate circumstances. I wish him luck with everything he’s going through — and if there’s victims in this. I can’t speak on things that I don’t know about, Piers … but I wish everybody love.”

Ja Rule also added that the punishment should be given to whoever is found lying, be it Sean Combs or the people who have accused him. He said:

“It’s a very unfortunate thing for the victims of these situations, and for the people who are also being accused of these situations. I believe in justice and I believe in the punishment fitting the crime.
“And if people get convicted of the things these people are saying then they should be put in jail. But I also believe, on the flipside, if people are lying about these things they should also be taken to court, tried and be put in prison as well."

The likes of Kanye West, aka Ye, and Slim Thug have also supported Combs since the scandal began.

“I say this all the time, Puffy and I are not friends. But Puffy should definitely walk. There were other executives involved in Puffy’s life and for Puffy to be the only guy that gets on the stand is a sad day for hip-hop.”

Knight also claimed that the US President, Donald Trump, will pardon Combs even if he's convicted. Combs' trial began in May and is expected to continue until July, with various testimonies and evidence being examined.
