Bruno Mars and Rosé won Song of the Year for their hit track APT at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 7, 2025. But the two singers weren't the only ones celebrating the win, because their fans in the Philippines also honored their latest feat with a special banner.

The hitmaker shared a screenshot of a congratulatory banner from the Philippines, created to celebrate his and Rosé's award on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The banner featured an image of the K-pop star holding a moon man statue beside an image of a man resembling Bruno Mars. He reposted it with the track of Black Eyed Peas' Bebot, with a caption of an ROFL emoji.

Fans took to social media to join in on the fun, poking fun at the Bruno look-alike in the banner. One X user, in particular, mentioned how it was made at 3:00 am using Microsoft Paint, but that it was the best part of the entire banner.

Other fans also commented on how "unserious" the singer is for reposting the banner, with more fans sharing more laughter because the man was "definitely" not Bruno.

Bruno Mars hasn't released a solo studio album in nearly a decade. The last solo LP was his third, 24K Magic, and it came out in 2016. It's also been years since he released his collaborative album with singer-rapper Anderson . Paak, An Evening with Silk Sonic, in 2021.

In the years after that, the 16-time Grammy winner released two songs, but they are not ordinary songs. In August 2024, he teamed up with Lady Gaga to release Die With a Smile. It was later included as a closing track for Gaga's latest studio album, Mayhem, which came out in 2025. It reached the No.1 spot of the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for five weeks.

At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Die With a Smile won them the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, besting Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift's Us, Beyonce and Post Malone's Levii's Jeans, and more. Lady Gaga gave Bruno Mars the props at the Grammys, saying, "I don't know music without Bruno."
