Grammy-winning musician Ashanti is reportedly expecting her second child with her husband Nelly, as reported by the Jasmine Brand on Wednesday, November 27. The Baby songstress' reported second pregnancy comes after she and her husband welcomed their first son Kareem Kenkaide Hayne on July 18 this year.
In addition to Kareem, Nelly has two children from his previous relationships - a son called Cornell Haynes III and a daughter named Chanelle. He also adopted his stepsister Jaqueline Donahue's two children after she died of leukemia on March 25, 2005.

Ashanti once opened up about her allegedly secret marriage with Nelly
Ashanti and Nelly opened up about their marriage after months of speculation among fans. According to public records, the two officially tied the knot on December 27, 2023, in St. Louis County. However, no further details were disclosed. The information was published in a June 19 report by TMZ.
On June 19, Ashanti finally opened up about their marriage and Nelly's proposal in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. Talking to host Deidre Behar, she said:
"Never in a million years did I think we would be here. Ten years ago -- maybe yes -- but after our breakup, you know, I didn't even think we'd ever have a conversation again."
The songstress continued:
"I guess when you go through a breakup, for me personally, I kind of just shut that person out... It's kinda like, OK, that chapter is closed and you just move on, you know, and there's nothing there."
Ashanti first met Nelly at a press conference for the 2003 Grammy Awards on January 7, 2003. The two dated for over a decade before finally breaking up in 2013. In a 2015 interview with People, Ashanti revealed that her trust had been broken, resulting in the two going their separate ways.
