As per the news outlet, the Donda rapper arrived at the courthouse in Maybach dressed in all white and wearing black sunglasses. Kanye West had reportedly been in touch with Sean Combs’ family regarding his attendance at Diddy's trial to show support. Meanwhile, when a reporter asked Ye if he was here to support Diddy, the 48-year-old artist, according to CNN, nodded and said “yes”.

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times, Kanye West wrote several tweets supporting Sean Combs in February 2025, after the latter got arrested in September 2024. “Free Puff,” Ye wrote in one of his X posts and called out for the release of Diddy.

On Friday, June 13, 2025, Ye caused a frenzy outside the US District Courthouse in New York City. As per The Sun, he arrived in a blacked-out Maybach. The rapper reportedly walked through security with Diddy’s youngest son, Christian “King” Combs. According to Variety, Kanye West sat beside Christian in the overflow room, where the trial was streamed via video feed.

Although Kanye West spent less than 30 minutes in the courthouse, he never made it into Judge Arun Subramanian's courtroom. A source close to CNN revealed that Christian Combs and Kanye West are currently working on music together. Ye is reportedly one of the few celebrities voicing support for Sean Combs after he was arrested in 2024 and is facing federal charges.

Kanye West's appearance at the courthouse came a day after a woman under the pseudonym “Jane” testified for six days. The witness was in a relationship with Sean Combs from 2021 to 2024. She alleged that she felt coerced into having s*x with male escorts while Diddy watched.

West, in March 2025, released a song titled, Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine featuring a phone call recorded between him and Sean Combs from jail. Notably, the song also featured Christian Combs and Ye’s daughter, North West.

Sean Combs was arrested on federal charges of s*x trafficking, transportation to engage in pr*stitution, and racketeering conspiracy. He has not pleaded guilty, but if convicted, he could spend the rest of his life in prison.

Friday, June 13, 2025, was day twenty-three of Sean Combs' trial. Until now, the musician’s ex-partners, including Casandra “Cassie” Ventura and a woman under the pseudonym “Jane”, were among the star witnesses.
