The NHL's Stanley Cup playoffs are down to the final four teams, meaning 28 teams are already in offseason move. For 28 teams, they are looking at which players they may decide to re-sign and what players they will target in free agency.
With that, there are plenty of rumors going around, so let's take a look at four rumors that have been circling around the NHL.
NHL Rumor Roundup
Bruins eyeing Elias Lindholm
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Boston Bruins are expected to have some interest in Vancouver Canucks free agent forward Elias Lindholm.
"We talked about Elias Lindholm, and how he's a player they liked before he got traded to Vancouver. So I am expecting the Bruins to be on him if he hits the market,” Friedman said on 32 Thoughts.
As Friedman notes, Boston had interest in Friedman before he was traded to the Canucks. After the trade to Vancouver, Lindholm recorded six goals and six assists in 26 games.
Tyler Toffoli linked to Nashville

Tyler Toffoli will be a pending free agent after being traded to the Winnipeg Jets at the deadline.
Toffoli ended his four-year $17 million contract and will be highly sought after in free agency. According to The Athletic's Pierre LeBrun, he believes that Winnipeg's division rival in the Nashville Predators will have interest in the winger.
"It’s time for the goal machine known as Tyler Toffoli to finally get paid...and while he enjoyed his time in Winnipeg after the trade this season, he’s headed to market, which is not surprising." LeBrun also speculated that Toffoli and Nashville could be a match.
With Winnipeg, Toffoli recorded seven goals and four assists in 18 games.
Cole Perfetti drawing trade interest

Winnipeg Jets forward Cole Perfetti has gotten trade interest around the NHL, insider David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period reports.
"I’ve mentioned Cole Perfetti a couple of times lately, and his name continues to pop up in discussions with various people across the NHL. Teams are curious as to Winnipeg’s plans for him and will inquire about his availability after his minimal usage in the playoffs. He can become an RFA in July," Pagnotta wrote.
Perfetti had been a healthy scratch down the stretch and in the playoffs for the Jets. He was drafted 10th overall by the Jets in 2020 but hasn't found consistent footing with Winnipeg.
Matt Dumba to hit free agency

The Tampa Bay Lightning traded for defenseman Matt Dumba at the trade deadline and he is a pending free agent.
Although Dumba had some success with the team, Pagnotta reports the two sides will not sign an extension as the defenseman will hit the open market on July 1.
"Matt Dumba’s ride in Tampa Bay was short-lived. As I reported Tuesday, he will not be re-signing with the Lightning and will hit the UFA market," Pagnotta reported.
Dumba recorded two assists in 18 regular-season games and had zero points in the playoffs for the Bolts.
