Media personality Perez Hilton has weighed in on Trace Cyrus’ allegations against his ex-girlfriend Brenda Song, suggesting the Metro Station singer might not be the most reliable narrator. On June 12, 2025, Hilton uploaded a video on his YouTube channel, reacting to Cyrus’ allegations that Song faked multiple pregnancies, robbed thousands of dollars from him, and fabricated a terminal cancer diagnosis.
According to Page Six, Miley Cyrus' older brother took to Instagram on June 11, 2025, to make various claims about The Suite Life of Zack & Cody actress Brenda Song. Trace Cyrus also alleged that Song pretended to have an abortion using fake blood.
Hilton, in his video, stated,
"I’m inclined to believe he’s been smoking too much of that and full of sh-. But maybe he's telling the truth."
The blogger noted that Song, who is currently married to Macaulay Culkin and is a mother of two, seemed “very normal and stable,” while Cyrus has been in the press of late for several bizarre claims and highly publicized battles with family members.
"Trace Cyrus, on the other hand, UFOs, smack-talking everybody," Hilton said.
Trace Cyrus' allegations about Brenda Song explored
As reported by Page Six, Trace Cyrus and Brenda Song had an on-and-off relationship that lasted seven years between 2010 and 2017. The pair had even gotten engaged in 2011 before calling it off.
On June 11, 2025, after a critic insulted him on Instagram, saying, "Now we know why Brenda left," Cyrus replied with a number of claims against Song. He wrote,
"Yes because she stole thousand of dollars from me and faked multiple pregnancies, & lied about being terminally ill to make my family and i think she had breast cancer and a brain tumor."
He also made a follow-up Instagram story where he wrote,
"She showed up to my house with a bandage on her head claiming she just got out of [brain tumor] surgery. I ripped it off exposing no surgery had been done."
He also claimed she staged a graphic abortion scene with fake blood, prompting him and his mother, Tish Cyrus, to rush her to a doctor before realizing it was a hoax.
“It was all a lie. She was humiliated to ever show her face around my family again once we figured it out and my mom confronted her and called her out on all of it."
The Shake It singer signed off, wishing Song well.
“There’s more proof of how f***ked in the head child stars are. I hope she’s doing better mentally.”
Brenda Song has yet to publicly comment on Trace Cyrus' statements. According to People, Song and Macaulay Culkin began dating in 2017 and got engaged in 2022. The couple shares two sons together, Dakota and Carson.
