On June 6, 2025, FBI director Kash Patel appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience, where he discussed video evidence allegedly linked to Epstein Island. For context, Epstein Island was owned by late s*x offender Jeffrey Epstein from 1998 to 2018, where he would allegedly commit crimes.

During the podcast, Joe Rogan asked Kash Patel about the existence and content of the alleged video evidence from Epstein Island. Kash responded that the FBI is trying to be as transparent as possible with the public, but they're not going to "revictimize women" and release the videos to the public. He added that he does not have the videos of individuals committing crimes on the island, adding:

"Again, logical playout, if there was a video of some guy or gal committing felonies on an island and I'm in charge, don't you think you'd see? If I have it, period."

Rogan then pressed on whether any Epstein Island video evidence exists at all. In response, Patel remarked:

"Not of what you want."

Rogan followed up, asking:

"So this narrative might not be accurate, that there's video of these guys doing this."
"Exactly," Kash Patel responded.

However, Kash Patel's commentsthat the FBI does not have such evidencehave been met with skepticism, particularly in light of comments made in early May by Attorney General Pam Bondi. At the time, Bondi claimed that there are "tens of thousands" of video evidence files of Jeffrey Epstein committing crimes.

"There are tens of thousands of videos of Epstein with children or child p*rn, and there are hundreds of victims, and no one victim will ever get released. It's just the volume, and that's what they're going through right now, the FBI is diligently going through that," Pam said.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump have reportedly been feuding following Musk's criticism of the One Big Beautiful Bill, passed by the House of Representatives in May 2025. The bill, which is currently under congressional consideration, includes major tax breaks and increased defense spending. Musk strongly criticized the bill in a series of posts on X.

On June 6, 2025, Musk made a controversial statement on X, claiming that Trump is mentioned in the unreleased files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

"Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!" Musk wrote on X.

Reacting to Elon Musk's comments, Joe Rogan asked Patel:

"Jesus Christ, that's a crazy thing to say. How does he know that Donald Trump is in the Epstein files, or does he have access to the Epstein Files?"

Kash Patel replied that he is choosing not to get involved in the feud between Trump and Musk.

"I don't know how he would, but I'm just staying out of the Trump-Elon thing. I know my lane and that ain't it."

In another post dated June 3, 2025, Elon Musk called the One Big Beautiful Bill a "disgusting abomination" and criticized those who voted for it.

In the following post, Musk claimed that the bill would "massively increase" the already "gigantic" budget deficit to $2.5 trillion, leaving American citizens with an overwhelming debt.

Subsequently, on June 5, during a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Donald Trump voiced disappointment in Musk:

"I’m very disappointed in Elon. I’ve helped Elon a lot."

He continued:

"Look, Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we will anymore. I was surprised."

Trump clarified that Musk hasn't said anything about him "personally," adding, "I’m sure that’ll be next." He further explained the reason for his disappointment, claiming that Elon was aware of the "inner workings of this bill" and that he didn't have a problem "until right after he left."

Later that day, Musk denied Trump's claims, stating that the bill was never shown to him "even once."
