Episode 4 of America's Got Talent season 20 was released on June 17. It was the fourth part of the audition and saw yet another entry winning the coveted Golden Buzzer, this time from the host, Terry Crews. The buzzer, like some of the previous seasons, was celebrated because it allowed its recipient to go straight to the Live Shows round, skipping everything in the middle.

Each of the four judges, including Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Mel B, was given two buzzers, and two were given to the host, Terry Crews. The Funkateer Dancers, a dance group of four who had been together for 45 years, stole the host's heart and won the coveted buzzer.

The dance group revealed that they had been friends for 45 years and performed together as a group during their high school days in the 1980s. After their performance, while the judges were busy praising them, Terry Crews snuck up to the table and pressed the Golden Buzzer.

The Funkateer Dancers' America's Got Talent season 20 episode 4 performance and what the judges had to say

Before their performance, the group of four revealed that they had been together for 45 years. They performed together at the high school to get all the girls' attention, according to what they said on stage, and won the talent show. They shared that the last time they performed was in 1989, at one of their weddings.

After their performance, all four judges stood up for a standing ovation. Sofia thought their performance was "perfect," and praised the fact that their performance had a story. Howie commended how they had kept their high school group intact and stated that it was better that they decided to perform at that age.

That was right when Terry Crews snuck up to the judges' table. When the audience spotted him, they knew exactly why he was there, so they cheered and hooted in approval. He told them that they were his Golden Buzzer and pressed it.

Simon took offense because he said he was going to press it. He then shared his answer to people who asked him what the "perfect audition" was, saying,

"It's something surprising and it just makes you feel amazing."

He stated that he was about to press the buzzer, but Terry snuck up and took it from him. He told him that he hated him and loved him at the same time.
