The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Brit Eady is suing the show's network, Bravo, its parent company NBC, and its production companies Truly Original and Endemol Shine North America for $20 million, according to a report by The Independent on June 6, 2025.
During the filming of season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta in June 2024, cast member Kenya Moore displayed an explicit poster at the opening of her hair salon. While the identity of the woman in the pictures was unknown, many speculated it was Brit Eady due to the earlier beef between the two castmates.
Moore was then investigated for her actions and was reportedly removed from the reality show. She was also not invited to the RHOA season 16 reunion, which was filmed on June 5, 2025. However, the episode featuring the incident was still aired on April 6, 2025.
Now, on Friday, June 6, Brit Eady announced on her Instagram Story that she didn't attend the reunion because of said incident, further denying being the woman in the poster. According to HotNewHipHop's June 6 report, Brit Eady is suing Bravo for allegedly implying that the woman in the poster was her and for airing the episode. She also demanded that the network remove the episode.
Andy Cohen, the host and executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise, seemingly responded to the news of the lawsuit. Cohen tweeted on June 6, 2025, calling the situation "petty" and adding a popcorn emoji, suggestively enjoying the feud.
"This is reaching a level of petty that's beyond even anything I'VE seen!" Andy Cohen wrote.
A source close to Kenya Moore claimed Brit Eady allegedly threatened the reality star with a gun
A source close to RHOA star Kenya Moore told People Magazine in June 2024 that Moore arranged the explicit images at the grand opening of her hair spa in order to "retaliate" against Brit Eady.
The source claimed Eady and Moore reportedly had a heated argument while filming. During the alleged verbal fight, Eady supposedly threatened Moore while mentioning a "gun." The source further added that Kenya felt unsafe, but her concerns weren't taken seriously.
"Kenya was concerned for her safety, that is the truth. Never for one second did Kenya feel like she was being taken seriously for her fears. It's unfair," the source stated.
Meanwhile, another source close to the reality show's production crew told the media outlet that the claims were false, stating that Moore was never threatened with a weapon and that no guns are allowed on the sets.
"At no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production," the source said.
In November 2024, Moore appeared on the Tamron Hall Show and stated that she felt threatened after the alleged altercation. However, she also added that she regretted showcasing the graphic pictures at the opening of her hair spa.
"If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I've elevated situations before, and I've taken full accountability for the things that I've done. I am sorry for what I've done," Moore said.
Neither Bravo nor Kenya Moore has responded to Brit Eady's $20 million lawsuit at the time of this writing.
