James Gunn's brand new DC universe is set to begin next week as Creature Commandos premieres on Max. The show, which follows a group of monsters assembled by Amanda Waller and led by Rick Flag Sr. on a dangerous mission, will premiere its first two episodes on December 5, 2024. It will then release a new episode every week until the finale airs on January 9, 2025.
Creature Commandos will be establishing a brand new continuity for the DC Universe going forward. From here on out, every new movie or show will be connected to the brand-new canon and continuity that has been established by the upcoming animated show. However, a few things that happened in The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker will be carried on to this new universe.
