Natalie Reynolds' latest controversy

The 26-year-old content creator found herself in hot waters last month after pulling a stunt on a homeless woman, which led the latter to almost drown in a lake.

In May, one of Natalie Reynolds' prank videos went viral, where she paid a woman $20 to jump into Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas.

Per an NY Post, Natalie approached the woman and convinced her to dive into the water. The woman told the influencer she did not know how to swim. Natalie reportedly told the stranger they were filming a scavenger hunt and assured her she would jump in after her.

However, as the woman dove into the lake and waited for Natalie to follow, the Kick streamer told her:

"You said you wanted to swim."

As the woman told Natalie she was told to dive in, the latter denied:

"I didn't tell you to jump in."

Natalie Reynolds walked away from the scene seconds after. Later in the video, the woman was heard yelling that she couldn't swim but only knew how to remain floating. Reynolds' friends joined her soon, and they left the area without helping the woman out of the water.

As Natalie and her troop were leaving the area, a firetruck was filmed entering the lane, supposedly to rescue the woman in the lake.

According to the NY Post, the Austin Fire Department was called to the scene to help the woman. Her condition was not disclosed afterward.

Natalie Reynolds faced severe backlash online following the incident. Many called for her to be arrested for her act. The influencer, however, brushed off the criticism and did not take accountability.
