On Monday, April 21, 2025, Joe Budden and 50 Cent reportedly ran into each other at the New York Knicks vs Detroit Pistons game. The two were in a beef recently, taking digs at each other over Irv Gotti's demise. In a recent Instagram post, however, Cent suggested that things were fine between him and Joe.
The rapper shared moments from the Knicks game on Instagram on April 21, 2025, with the caption:
"I ran into Joe at the game he said I don’t need Therapy No MORE!"
Joe Budden has yet to comment on the post. As for the match, the Knicks lost to the Detroit Pistons by a score of 100-94. Fans then took to social media platforms and blamed Budden and Cent's interaction. A user even jokingly blamed Joe for being the reason behind the loss. The user (@Phflock0) said:
"They lost because of Joe"
Many netizens shared funny responses to the moment.
"50 cent is a solid guy, face to face these n*ggas dont speak," a user wrote.
"Joe tryna get in the frame," read a tweet.
"NYC is a small place especially if you’re a celeb," wrote a platform user.
A lot of other X users shared varied responses on the social media platform.
"That’s where he catch everyone he’s looking for in New York," a user commented.
"Joe behind 50 as usual," read a tweet.
For the unversed, Budden is a broadcaster and former rapper who is currently also the host of The Joe Budden Podcast.
"Man I knew my Knicks was gonna lose" — said Ja Rule seemingly about 50 Cent after Knicks lost the match
While fans and netizens speculated that 50 Cent and Joe Budden had possibly ended their beef, Ja Rule took to X and made some remarks about the rapper. As aforementioned, the Knicks lost the match, which seemingly prompted Rule to tweet:
"Man I knew my Knicks was gonna lose as soon as I seen that black cat (rat) in the building."
While Ja Rule had not specifically taken 50 Cent's name in the tweet, it was speculated that the remark was directed at him, as per reports by Billboard. For context, Rule and Cent are in a beef as well. While the duo had been beefing for a long time now, it was reignited earlier this month.
Ja Rule appeared on The Breakfast Club on April 10, 2025, and reacted to some comments made by Cent about Irv Gotti's death. In the interview, Rule claimed that he was all set to "go nuclear" after Cent's comments.
For context, the In Da Club rapper shared a photo on Instagram of him smoking a hookah, with a tombstone beside him that read "RIP." The second image on the slide was that of Gotti, and the caption of the post read:
"I'm smoking on dat Gotti pack, nah God bless him LOL."
50 Cent responded to Ja Rule's comment on The Breakfast Club via an Instagram post, writing:
"The Breakfast Club should be ashamed of themselves asking questions that perpetuate violence. This fool has been ready to go what he calls nuclear for 22 years. LOL."
Unlike the beef with Joe, it is unclear if Cent and Rule had sorted out their feud.
