Considering how much time and effort WWE put in to build up the WWE Championship match and the Women's Championship match, the build for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships just seemed lazy in comparison.
Moreover, it seemed goofy. It did not do justice to the performers involved. In fact, it watered down the match significantly.
Five men backed away from two, when the Bludgeon Brothers appeared, despite the fact that they should have been seeking retribution after what happened at the Fastlane pay-per-view. The backstage skit just seemed hastily put together and rather pointless, as well.
