#3 John Cena Vs Umaga (Last Man Standing) - 2007

John Cena was in the prime of his career but had still not put on a real show-stealing matchup. All of that changed against an opponent you may not have expected to put on such a classic.
With the amount of blood that Cena shed for the company that night, it was amazing that he was able to leave the arena on his own feet, especially after the beating he endured at the hands of the Samoan Bulldozer.
Umaga was just finding his feet as the company's biggest monster heel and this match was a hard-hitting affair which did not disappoint. Both men chucked their best shots at each other and both kept on reaching their feet before the count of 10.
In the end, we were left with the epic image of Cena removing the ring rope and wrapping it around the neck of the Samoan and choking him unconscious to put his opponent down for the 10 count.
This match worked wonders for both men. Cena left as the ever-resilient champion that would later be known to overcome the greatest odds, while Umaga was now the monster heel that pushed the champion to his absolute limit.
