10 bold predictions for the Superstar Shake-Up

The Shake-Up will happen on both the shows.
The Shake-Up will happen on both the shows.

A lot has happened over the last one-week on WWE. Raw welcomed a couple of returning Superstars, whereas SmackDown Live was shocked by the heel turn of Shinsuke Nakamura. Thanks to Carmella, Charlotte Flair became the newest victim of the Money in the Bank contract.

With a lot that has happened so far, the fans are curious about the Superstar Shake-Up which is going to happen next week on Raw. Here are the ten predictions for the same.

#1 Raw becomes the home of the “YES” movement

Will this movement run wild again on Raw?
Will this movement run wild again on Raw?

Last week on SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon disclosed that he has accepted the resignation of Daniel Bryan as General Manager. The leader of the “YES” movement went on to close the show with a classic match against AJ Styles.

It is highly probable that he will be traded to Raw. If this indeed happens, Daniel Bryan would complete a full circle. He retired as a wrestler from Raw and went to SmackDown Live as the General Manager of the show.

It seems imminent that he will go back to the Monday Nights.

#2 Tag-team division gets shuffled

The Bar might get more teams to compete with.
The Bar might get more teams to compete with on R.

The Bar had complained before WrestleMania that they don’t have any team to compete with on the roster. Not to mention, the SmackDown tag-team division is continuously featuring either the New Day or the Usos in the championship scenario. Hence, it is imminent that this division on both the roster is due for another round of permutations.

Raw would be looking to acquire the faction that hosted WrestleMania 33, the New Day. Further, SmackDown Live would be craving to have Titus WorldWide or the Authors of Pain.

Kurt Angle mentioned that the tag-team division is full on Raw and hence he couldn’t hire Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. If SmackDown Live acquires multiple tag-teams from Raw, it might become the opening those two needs.

#3 Bobby Roode makes Raw glorious

Will he become the part of the red-wearing brand?
Will he become the part of the red-wearing brand?

Bobby Roode made his debut on SmackDown Live in August 2017 and has been an integral part of the show. It’s time for the “Glorious One” to taste the flagship show of WWE.

Notably, he lost the United States Championship to Randy Orton, and further lost the number one contender’s match last week on SmackDown. Raw might be looking to provide new title opportunities for the forty-year-old veteran.

It will be a treat to the fans if he gets involved in the Intercontinental Championship storyline.

#4 Is SmackDown ready for Asuka?

Will the Empress be traded to the show governed by the blue lights?
Will the Empress be traded to the show governed by blue lights?

The “Empress of Tomorrow” was humbled by the former-SmackDown Live Women’s champion, Charlotte Flair, at WrestleMania 34. Notably, Asuka didn’t even compete on Raw last week.

Asuka has always been on Raw since her debut on September 2017. She has practically defeated every other women wrestler on the Raw roster. Hence, it would be perfect to feature the Japanese wrestler on the “Land of Opportunities”. There would be plenty of fresh opponents for her on this show.

It would be ironic if she becomes the SmackDown Live Women’s Champion, the title that eluded her at the “Grandest Stage of Them All”.

#5 The “Queen” gets traded to Raw

Will she be traded again?
Will she be traded again?

Charlotte Flair has been the first ever Women’s Grandslam Champion. It would be great to have her back on Raw. Notably, she was traded to SmackDown as part of the last year’s Superstar Shake-Up.

Until last week, she was the SmackDown Women’s Championship. She would have to relinquish the championship had she still been the champion. Her loss to Carmella after she took a brutal assault by the “Iconics” hints that the WWE’s think-tank has made their minds to bring back the “Queen” to Raw.

Interestingly, Asuka and she might still be on different shows, which will prevent the dilution of their classic match at WrestleMania 34.

#6 Finn Balor gets traded to SmackDown

This might be the break Balor is looking for.
This might be the break Balor is looking for.

Finn Balor won the WWE Universal Championship with a broken arm. SmackDown Live would love to have this gutsy and talented Superstar on their roster.

Notably, Finn Balor wasn’t majorly booked in a significant storyline since his return to Raw despite being a fan favorite on the show. Although he consistently impressed everyone with his performances, he still hasn’t got the chance to compete for the Championship which he relinquished due to his injury. Shane McMahon might give him the WWE Championship opportunity if he gets traded to the “Land of Opportunities”.

Let’s hope the “Demon King” will rule the Tuesday nights.

#7 Dolph Ziggler gets to Show-Off again

Will this happen?
Will this happen?

Speaking of Championship opportunities, he is another Superstar who is craving for the same since long. Last December, the “Show Off” relinquished the United States Championship and has been in the pursuit of the spotlight since then.

Notably, he lasted for mere two-minutes at the Royal Rumble and was not even on the main show at WrestleMania 34. Hence, it’s high time for the former World Heavyweight Champion to switch the brand to get more promising opportunities.

At the alternate brand, he will get the opportunity to face the likes of Seth Rollins, The Miz among other great superstars. These might become the top-notch matches which can put him back on the map again.

#8 SmackDown Live’s women’s division

Someone will be leaving this division.
Someone will be leaving this division.

SmackDown Live would be looking to make their roster more enriched when it comes to the Women’s division. Adding Bayley or Sasha Banks to their brand might just do that. Both these Superstars have been the backbone of the Raw roster.

Interestingly, Paige is the new General Manager on SmackDown Live. Hence, it is very unlikely that her former faction, Absolution, will be traded to her new show.

Last week, Ember Moon made her debut on Raw. Her run at Raw could be short lasting if she gets traded to the alternate show.

#9 Randy Orton wears Red again

It's long due for the
It's long due for the "Legend Killer" to headline Raw once again.

Randy Orton was drafted to SmackDown Live after his controversial match at Summerslam 2016 against Brock Lesnar. Since then, the “Viper” has struck various Superstars on the Tuesday nights with an “RKO outta nowhere”.

This might be the long-awaited homecoming for the thirteen times World Champion. A lot has changed on Raw since he left. He sure will be looking to catch-up!

Ironically, the main event at WrestleMania 34 concluded in a much similar way to SummerSlam 2016. Is this a sign that the “Apex Predator” would be coming back to Raw?

#10 The “Enigma” will unleash on SmackDown Live

Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles will be a classic.
Jeff Hardy vs. AJ Styles will be a classic.

A couple of days ago at the Hall of Fame ceremony, Jeff Hardy announced that he is waiting for the appropriate idea to return to action. Last week, he made his return on Raw to participate in the six men tag-team match to close the show.

However, this doesn’t seem like something close to a perfect storyline. Matt Hardy is already pursuing the “Woken” character and has Bray Wyatt by his side as well. Hence, it is less probable that the reunion of Hardy Boyz is on the cards.

It would be interesting to see the hi-flyer to pursue the “Brother Nero” character on Tuesday Nights, and the two brothers will face each other after a couple of months at Summerslam.

There is a lot of speculation about the things that must happen after WrestleMania 34. This Superstar Shake-Up is just getting things started.
