Mia Yim and Shayna Baszler had a fantastic feud over the NXT Women's Championship a few years ago. Outside of WWE's spotlight, it appears that the two women are quite close. This could be why their feud seemed so personally motivated.

Alongside fellow WWE star and member of MMA's Four Horsewomen, Jessamyn Duke, Yim and Baszler were once roommates. They even kept their own animals in their shared accommodation.
The three women called themselves BRE which means Best Roommates Ever. They shared videos on YouTube where they were able to tell stories about themselves whilst out of character.
Yim hasn't been as successful as Shayna Baszler on the main roster over the past year. The former RETRIBUTION member was moved over to SmackDown following the group's split but recently had her debut canceled.
Hopefully, Baszler and Yim are able to stand across the ring from one another once again soon, it would be a fantastic way to re-ignite Yim's WWE career.
