CM Punk fit right into the mold of an ECW wrestler, which may be why he was quickly elevated to champion when WWE tried to bring the brand back in the 2000s.

He was challenged by Big Daddy V (formerly known as Viscera, Mabel, and King Mabel) a man who outweighed him by nearly four hundred pounds. The brutal contest elevated Punk as a superstar and got over the new, more vicious character for Viscera.
