Sometimes to become the franchise player, you have to be courageous in your decisions. Back in the UK, John Cena took that leap of faith. On the back of the WWE tour bus, Rikishi, Rey Mysterio & Chuck Palumbo were playing hip-hop beats and freestyling.
So, what did the rookie John Cena do? He walked straight up to these WWE legends and started rapping. The Champ claims he freestyled for 10 straight minutes in front of the whole bus, with the creative team eagerly listening. From that day on, the Doctor of Thuganomics was born and Cena’s life changed for the better.
