#8 Raul Mendoza - 5ft 7in (170cm)

Raul Mendoza briefly appeared in WWE in 2016 when he took part in the Cruiserweight Classic. Despite losing in the first round against The Brian Kendrick, the Mexican went on to sign a developmental contract following the tournament and he has been working for the company ever since.

NXT and 205 Live fans will know Mendoza from his tag team matches with Humberto Carrillo in 2018-2019, but it looks as though the two men have now gone their separate ways following Carrillo’s move to the main roster in the 2019 draft.

Moving forward, Angel Garza appears to be Mendoza’s new partner at NXT live events.

#7 Lince Dorado - 5ft 7in (170cm)

Lince Dorado defeated Ali in the 2016 Cruiserweight Classic before losing to Rich Swann in the second round of the tournament.

Despite instantly becoming a member of WWE’s revived cruiserweight division in September 2016, Dorado did not begin appearing regularly on television until he joined forces with Kalisto and Gran Metalik as part of the Lucha House Party faction on 205 Live in May 2018.

We can expect to see a lot more from the trio following their move to SmackDown in the 2019 draft.
