'The Heart Break Kid' Shawn Michaels is quite possibly the greatest in-ring performer to step foot into a WWE ring and throughout his illustrious career, Michaels has won several championship belts. So much so, that HBK has had the privilege of calling himself a Double Champion on more than one occasion.

During Shawn Michaels' first-run with Kevin Nash in the WWF around 1993, both men had the opportunity of winning the Intercontinental Championship on respected occasions, before the duo known as Two Dudes with Attitudes defeated The Headshrinkers to win the WWF Tag Team Titles.

However, after their initial split, in mid-1995, both HBK and Diesel once again reformed as a tag team, this time officially under the 'Two Dudes with Attitudes' moniker, as the two men defeated Owen Hart and Yokozuna to win the WWF Tag Team Titles for the second time together.

With this win, both Michaels and Nash were now billed as Double Champion with the two being in possession of the Intercontinental Title and the WWF Title respectively. But, Michaels' first run as Double Champion eventually ended within the next day, as they were forced to drop their tag titles back to Hart and Yokozuna.

However, later in his career, Michaels would once again go on to become a dual champion as HBK, on this occasion, captured the European Championship from Davey Boy Smith in front of his hometown before winning (or literally being awarded) with the WWF Title at Survivor Series, 1997.
