When he signed with the then-WWF, his gimmick was tweaked to the Birdman, a happy go lucky musician who always brought his pet macaw, Frankie, to the ring.
The result was one of the most iconic duos wrestling has ever seen. Frankie even made it into Koko's Piledriver music video! It's hard to imagine Koko without Frankie.
