#4 A very unique pitch for a feud with Bray Wyatt

Chris Jeri
Chris Jericho saw a different route for this story

Another huge story to come out of Jericho's one-man show was the pitch for a storyline between Bray Wyatt and the GOAT, where Jericho wanted to team up with one of his famous foes to take on the Wyatt Family.

Just as big of a story, though, was how Jericho pitched the story - and why he believes it got rejected. It's no secret that Jericho says the right story is what gets him excited about wrestling, so it's no surprise that he wanted his feud with Wyatt to have a little bit more oomph to it.

Jericho opened up about his idea, to have the lights go out when Wyatt was about to attack, and for Jericho to be saved by Shawn Michaels!

Y2J said he wanted HBK to attack the Wyatt Family before walking off, leaving a cliffhanger over whether he was with Jericho or not.

But the reason Jericho thinks the story got rejected was unique.

"When I went to pitch it to Vince, I asked two things. 'Is Vince in?' and 'Has he eaten?'"

The Fozzy frontman went on to say you NEVER pitch something to Vince when he's hungry, and he confirmed Vince was in his office and had eaten, but there was one thing he couldn't account for...

"I knock the door and walk in, and Vince is sitting there. Standing to the side is Triple H..."

Jericho then goes on to say that he forgot the all-important third question, "Is he alone?"

Y2J said he knew pitching the story, precisely at that time, he was doomed. And matters got even worse when Vince pulled out a wrapped up steak with a sticker saying the time it was cooked on it - he was STILL hungry. The steak did not taste good, with Vince apparently saying "bad cow" while speaking about the dinner as Jericho pitched the idea.

To Y2J's premonition, the idea never came to fruition.

LMAO. Check out who just called Becky Lynch 'tiny' RIGHT HERE
