Chavo portrayed a comic role as part of La Familia.
When someone carries a prestigious surname like Guerrero, you would expect them to be a multiple time world champion. This was not the case for Chavo Guerrero. The nephew of the late great Eddie Guerrero has had a couple of good runs with WWE and won a couple of championships such as Cruiserweight Championship and the Tag Team Titles.

Despite his great ring work and charisma, he was never really a main event player. He won the ECW Championship once but lost it to Kane at WrestleMania in under 30 seconds.
Towards the end of his tenure with WWE, Chavo portrayed a comic role as part of La Familia. This is a real shame when you look at his feud with Rey Mystery which really showed that Chavo Guerrero can play a really good heel.
He wasn’t the biggest guy in the ring, but WWE should have at least tried to give him one main event push. He deserved it.

A wrestling aficionado since childhood, Sunil used to imitate his favorite wrestlers as a young kid, and started writing professionally about the sport via Sportskeeda’s revenue-sharing opportunity.
Sunil admires former world champions AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, and Kenny Omega for their ability to consistently deliver great matches as well as entertain crowds with their mic skills.
If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
Always focused on making his work accurate and reliable, Sunil thoroughly checks his facts before writing his articles. When not writing for pro wrestling, he spends his time watching cricket.
