There is no better heel in wrestling today than Tommaso Ciampa. The current NXT champion has stood head and shoulders above everybody else in 2018, and a main-roster call-up is surely only a matter of months away.

Ciampa will need to make an instant impact when he comes up to the main roster, and there would be no better way of doing that than taking out Daniel Bryan.

Ciampa could claim that his intention is to once again retire Bryan and then go about attacking the former World Heavyweight Champion at every opportunity.
The former NXT tag team-champions' feud with his former partner, Johnny Gargano has helped him get over as the biggest heel in the industry, and the closest thing that the main roster has to Gargano is Daniel Bryan.
Not only would the two characters create the perfect feud, but the two men are also two of the company's most prolific performers between the ropes, and they would have absolutely no problem stealing whatever show they were placed on.
