Spear has become one of the most popular and impactful finishers in WWE. It first became popular when Goldberg started using it as a set-up for his finishing move, the Jackhammer.

Spear was then used by Edge in the 2000s as his finisher and it almost became synonymous with the Superstar. The Rated-R Superstar executed the move perfectly and captured various Championships with the help of this move.

Former WWE Superstar, Rhyno also used a variation of the spear which he called The Gore. Rhyno's Gore was an extremely impactful move and it helped the Superstar to establish himself as a fierce Superstar.

Spear is also used as a finisher by current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. This maneuver has been used by Roman Reigns since he was a member of The Shield. The Tribal Chief has one of the best spears in the business, and only a few Superstars have been able to kick out from it.
