How can we make a WWE list without ensuring that the Chairman of WWE finds a spot on it too?

Vince McMahon is the mastermind behind the biggest sports entertainment company in the world, and he has proven time and time again why he is regarded as one of the biggest brains in the world of sports.

At over 70 years of age, not only is he still physically and mentally fit to run the largest wrestling promotion in the world, some of his decisions still catch us by surprise to this day.

Vince McMahon is the oldest WWE Champion of all time

One big decision he made back in 1999 landed him in the Guinness Book of World Records. McMahon competed against Triple H in a match for the WWE (WWF) Championship on September 14, 1999, on SmackDown.

Thanks to outside interference by Stone Cold Steve Austin, McMahon was able to win his first and only WWE Championship.

While he went on to vacate the title the next night on RAW, his name made it to the Guinness World Records as the oldest wrestler to win the WWE Championship at the age of 54 years and 21 days.

It is likely that McMahon’s record for being the oldest WWE Champion of all time will never be broken, or so we hope.
