The name says it all. It is the one night of the year, which gives Goosebumps to the entire WWE Universe. The ambience, the crowd, the intensity, everything is perfect for this mega event which motivates the performers to give their absolute best in the ring.

As our ship sails closer to this island, we wish that it will showcase the immortal matches. Here are the dream matches which we would love to see at this year’s WrestleMania.


#12 Kick Off 1: Twelve man tag team elimination match

It will be a massive match featuring the USOs, the Bar, Rusev and Aiden English, Chad Gable, Bullet Club and the New Day. The winners will earn the trophy for the “Best Tag Team” in WWE, which will be presented by the 2018 inductee in the Hall of Fame, the Dudley Boyz.

On the “Showcase of The Immortals”, the tag team from both shows will have a go at each other. The USOs picks up the victory by last eliminating the New Day.

#11 Kick Off 2: Battle Royal for the Cruiserweight Championship

This division has certainly headlined Raw in a recent couple of weeks, both by the high-flying performances as well as by the controversies surrounding its roster. WWE decides to add gravitas to this division by having a Battle Royal to crown the new Cruiserweight Champion.

The match will feature the entire current division. The final four will be Cedric Alexander, Drew Gulak, Rey Mysterio and Mustafa Ali.

Cedric Alexander will become the champion by last eliminating Rey Mysterio.

#10 Bray Wyatt vs Matt Hardy – No Disqualification match

The two best full-time characters of the company will fight to find out who is the better man. Matt Hardy will be “Broken” and will be in his full force to take on the “Eater on the Worlds” who has Bludgeon Brothers by his side for this special night.

Both Superstars will put up an opening classic as Wyatt’s fate take a “twist” and Hardy gets to meet “Sister Abigail”.

Matt Hardy puts up a brilliant fight but is outnumbered three-to-one. At the closing moments of the match, we hear some whispers in the wind marking the return of this man:

Broken Nero guides his brother to victory and the “Hardy Boyz” will now officially become “Broken Hardys”.

#9 Alexa Bliss (c) vs Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax vs Asuka

Nia Jax might beat Asuka by count out at the Elimination Chamber PPV and thus earned her spot in the match. Later that night, Jax would further help Bliss to retain the championship as she helps Bliss to pin Sasha Banks, the final elimination.

This ignites a feud between Jax and Banks leading to a fatal-four way match at WrestleMania. Bliss and Jax will try to have each other’s back in this match to ensure one of them walks out as the champion.

However, the winner will be the “Empress of Tomorrow” as she pins Alexa Bliss to become the Raw’s Women’s Champion.

#8 Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton – Determine the fate of Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon

The disagreement between Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan needs to be settled inside the ring. The winner of this match will gain complete control over SmackDown Live.

Both of the law-makers of Tuesday nights have hand-picked one man each to represent them in the match. Daniel Bryan will be represented by Kevin Owens whereas Shane McMahon will have Randy Orton.

Both Shane and Bryan will be present at the ringside. Shane will lay his hands on Owens at the closing moments of the match forcing Bryan to retaliate as the crowd erupts with “YES” chants.

However, the “Viper” will strike “outta nowhere” to pick up the victory, leaving the crowd in utter disbelief as their hero has to leave SmackDown Live.

#7 Money in the Bank Match – Winner to appear on both Raw and SmackDown Live

This time money in the bank ladder match will opportune the ultimate prize to its winner. The Superstar who wins this match will get to appear on both the shows. Not only this, he can cash his contract on either the Universal Champion or the WWE Champion.

With such a powerful position at stake, the match will be featured by the core wrestlers from both the rosters. It will be an eight-man ladder man featuring the Miz, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, Bobby Roode, Jinder Mahal, Barin Corbin, Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler.

The superstars will stop at nothing as chairs fly and tables crash. The winner will be the “Monster Among Men”, Braun Strowman.

#6 Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins – Loser Leaves Raw and the Guest Referee?

Roman Reigns eliminated Seth Rollins at the Royal Rumble. At the Elimination Chamber PPV, Seth Rollins Curb Stomp the “Big Dog” and eliminates him. However, Reigns takes exception to this and continue to punish Seth Rollins which will lead to Rollins elimination.

The feud gets worse as the former friends have cost each other the main event opportunity at WrestleMania. The Brotherhood of the Shield is nowhere to be found and the animosity will increase to such a level that both men can’t stand each other on Raw.

Hence, Kurt Angle makes this man the special guest referee to call out the match in the middle.

The addition of the “Lunatic Fringe” to the equation marks the complete implosion of the Shield. Seth Rollins picks up the win and forces Roman Reigns to move to SmackDown Live.

#5 Triple H vs. Kurt Angle – Who are in their corner?

Triple H pedigreed Kurt Angle’s son to take his spot in the Survivor Series men’s elimination match in 2017. At Survivor Series, he pedigreed Kurt Angle to gain the spotlight and pick up victory ahead of him for team Raw.

Triple H will not stop here but will go on to fire the injured Jason Jordan and accuses Kurt Angle of nepotism. Kurt Angle, who by now has had enough, will decide to rest his General Manager suit for one more night as he takes on the Chief Operating Officer of the company.

Stephanie McMahon will be in the corner of her husband to make sure her husband is victorious. But Kurt Angle has his son Jason in his corner to keep a check on the “Billion Dollar” princess.

The Angle family comes out victorious, with Triple H tapping out to the Ankle Lock.

#4 AJ Styles (c) vs Shinsuke Nakamura vs Finn Balor

AJ Styles defeats Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn to advance on his path to headline WrestleMania as the WWE champion, where Nakamura awaits him. However, with unexpected turns of events, Finn Balor decides to leave the Bullet Club on Raw and comes to SmackDown.

The “Demon King” Finn Balor claims he was the better man at the Royal Rumble and challenges Shinsuke Nakamura to a match at the Fastlane. The special stipulation of this match will be that if Balor wins the match, he will be added to the championship match.

Balor wins the match making it a Triple Threat affair at the WrestleMania, where AJ Styles will successfully defend his championship.

#3 The Undertaker vs The Rock – Once in a Millennium Match

The Undertaker almost marked the end of an era when he signalled his retirement post his loss towards Roman Reigns last year. However, after a successful hip surgery and a year of rehab, the “Deadman” is desperate to dig one more hole and take one more soul.

The Undertaker returns to the Monday Night Raw after Elimination Chamber and issues a challenge for any “worthy” opponent to face him at the WrestleMania. His challenge is answered by none other than the “Hercules”, the Rock.

Will the darkness be outshined by the most electrifying man on the planet? Who do you think will win this match?

#2 Charlotte Flair (c) vs Ronda Rousey

The Women’s division goes to the supreme level as the deadliest woman on the planet finds her home at WWE. Ronda Rousey challenges the SmackDown Live Women’s champion Charlotte Flair.

The sixteen times world champion, Ric Flair, will be in the corner of his daughter to leverage his every dirty trick to ensure Charlotte walks out with the gold.

However, Ronda Rousey proves to be too good for old dirty tricks as she walks out as the new Women’s Champion.

#1 Brock Lesnar (c) vs John Cena – If Cena loses, he must retire

After winning the Elimination Chamber match John Cena looks forward to winning the World Championship for the record seventeenth time. Notably, John Cena was one of the longest reigning faces of the company.

John Cena's fall as the main event draw began when he lost to Brock Lesnar at Summerslam 2014. The same match accelerated Brock Lesnar status as the main event player, who had beaten the Undertaker and John Cena within a short period of three months.

However, Paul Heyman claims that John Cena has already been decimated by Brock Lesnar and Brock won’t waste his time again by facing John Cena. Further, Heyman adds that Mr Cena hasn’t even been in the main event at WrestleMania for five years. He claims that there is everything to gain only for Mr Cena and nothing to gain for his client.

The “master of words” proposes that if John Cena wants to make history over his client’s name, he should have the guts to put everything on the line. He challenges Cena to a stipulation that if Cena loses to Lesnar, Cena will become history and his career will be over.

Cena accepts the stipulation and the veteran Superstars, who are both forty years old, will compete for the ultimate showdown at WrestleMania 34.

During the match, John Cena delivers an Attitude Adjustment to Paul Heyman through the announcing table. He delivers another Attitude Adjustment to Brock Lesnar from the top rope and the night ends as the reigning champion taps out to the STF.
