The Bloodline vs. The OG Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series WarGames is going to be a bloodthirsty battle. Roman Reigns wants to tear apart Solo Sikoa and his goons limb by limb, whereas The Street Champion is determined to make his former stablemates kneel in front of him.

With CM Punk joining The OTC ahead of WarGames, the stakes have risen significantly. This is the second time Roman Reigns has found an unexpected ally in WWE since his return at SummerSlam 2024. However, while his forming a team with Cody Rhodes worked in his favor and they defeated Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu, his union with CM Punk might cost him the match at WarGames.

Seth Rollins is the man who can again become the reason why Reigns loses everything. The two-time Grand Slam Champion has expressed his dislike towards the Second City Saint from Survivor Series 2023, the day Punk returned. In fact, WWE is expected to reignite the feud between Rollins and Punk after WarGames.

Next, the former World Heavyweight Champion does not want Roman Reigns to win the match and become powerful all over again, which can possibly lead to The OTC becoming a tyrant a second time.

Seth Rollins can kill two birds with one stone if he helps the new Bloodline secure the victory at WarGames. It will humiliate Punk given it's his first match since Bad Blood, and it will stop The OTC from regaining his former power over the locker room.

WWE veteran questioned CM Punk joining Roman Reigns for WarGames

The OG Bloodline members had approached Seth Rollins more than once to join them for Survivor Series WarGames, but The Visionary turned them down consistently. However, fans kept expecting Rollins to have a change of heart ahead of the premium live event and to reunite with Roman Reigns, even more so since his arch-nemesis Bronson Reed is Solo Sikoa's fifth member.

Now that Paul Heyman has introduced CM Punk as the fifth member, former WWE head writer, Vince Russo, questioned the decision on BroDown. He believes this move by the Stamford-based promotion buries Seth Rollins and doesn't align with the storyline:

"Now, with Punk being the fifth guy, what did they do? They buried Rollins. They one hundred percent buried their baby face. Bronson joined The Bloodline; they wind up screwing Rollins, and Rollins ain't gonna be in the match. So they one thousand percent screwed their babyface. It was so obvious. So now they pull CM Punk out of their backside to get the pop, but it makes zero sense storyline-wise."

It's too soon to rule out Seth Rollins' involvement in the match. He can still run interference or play a vital role in how the men's WarGames match concludes.
