The commissioner of Smackdown live was rumored to turn heel after winning the WWE World Cup in Saudi Arabia, but that did not materialize. Shane McMahon is currently part of the Smackdown live's team for 5 on 5 traditional Survivor Series match.

There is a possibility that McMahon might snap at the event if his team does not emerge victorious, especially if it as a result of internal rivalries among his team-mates. If this does happen, then he could well follow the route of his former subordinate and current WWE champion, Daniel Bryan and turn heel at the show.
