Similar to McIntyre, Kevin Owens also failed to cross his first obstacle on SmackDown Live last week. Although Shane McMahon helped Elias to beat Owens, it was a clean victory for Ricochet. Considering the proficiency of McIntyre and Ricochet, the two men were anticipated to deliver a stupendous match and they didn't disappoint the fans. Ricochet's hard-fought victory had several close moments but he managed to stand tall at the end.
Despite offering a good match, the loss could derail the momentum of McIntyre who has established himself as the top guy of the company.
