#3 Yet to win on RAW: Humberto Carrillo

youtube-cover

New RAW recruit Humberto Carrillo was one of the standout names from the 2019 WWE draft.

Known for his work on 205 Live and NXT, the cruiserweight was chosen by RAW as the 13th pick in the third round of the draft, meaning he was selected earlier than established names including Erick Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, Samoa Joe, The Miz, King Corbin and Rey Mysterio.

Since his surprisingly high position – or low position, depending on how you look at it – in the draft, Carrillo has appeared regularly on RAW and he is currently involved in a United States Championship rivalry with AJ Styles.

After back-to-back losses against the red brand’s top two male Champions at the time (Universal Champion Seth Rollins and United States Champion Styles), Carrillo won a 20-man Battle Royal at Crown Jewel to earn an opportunity at Styles’ title later in the night.

The RAW newcomer was unable to pick up a win over “The Phenomenal One”, and he also lost a six-man tag team match alongside The Street Profits against all three members of The O.C. four days later on RAW.

There is no doubt that the former 205 Live Superstar will go on to win plenty of matches on Monday nights, but he still awaits his first victory since moving to the show.
