2 WWE Superstars might get a push after the Superstar Shake-Up and 2 Superstars who might not

The Superstar Shakeup
The Superstar Shakeup

We witnessed some unforeseen surprises in the Superstar Shake-Up this week. Since it is an annual event every year, fans eagerly wait for the Shake-Up after WrestleMania. Vince McMahon's billion dollar company succeeded in meeting the expectations of the WWE Universe as some leading superstars swapped brands.

The arrival of AJ Styles on RAW was the biggest shock of RAW this week, but the blue brand toppled it when Roman Reigns arrived on SmackDown Live.RAW got some notable names like Andrade, Usos, Aleister Black, Naomi, and Eric Young. The former Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander came from 205 Live, and The Viking Experience joined from NXT.

Besides Reigns, SmackDown Live also brought some distinguished superstars from the red brand. The current Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Elias, Lars Sullivan, Bayley, Ember Moon, Liv Morgan, many more joined from the flagship show. Meanwhile, SmackDown Live also got the former Cruiserweight Champion, Buddy Murphy. Kairi Sane was the new entrant from NXT.

With the Superstar Shake-Up, we will be able to see many fresh feuds. Here we discuss two superstars who could get a push after the Superstar Shake-Up and two superstars who might not.

#2 Might not get a push: Elias

Reigns and Elias on SmackDown Live
Reigns and Elias on SmackDown Live

Elias was a notable name to switch brands this week, but the brand swap might not change his fortunes. Without a shadow of a doubt, the Drifter is one of the most charismatic superstars of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, but he has been struck in the mid-card after his main roster debut. Elias did not have a match at the Showcase of Immortals this year, but he had an exciting segment with John Cena.

Elias had a decent run in NXT, and the musician character garnered the attention of the fans. The Drifter had been part of the red brand for two years before moving to the blue brand this week. Despite having sublime mic skill and proficiency in the ring, he did not really do much.

Conventionally, Elias was interrupted by Roman Reigns on SmackDown Live this week. The Big Dog took him down after arriving on the blue brand, and Vince McMahon does not seem to have any big plan for Elias after the brand swap.

#2 Might get a push: Bayley

Bayley is new addition of SmackDown Live
Bayley is new addition of SmackDown Live

A brand switch could be highly beneficial for Bayley who did not reach her peak on RAW. Though Bayley held the Women's Tag Team Titles, she failed to obtain significant success as a singles superstar. Bayley and Sasha Banks lost the Women's Tag Team Championship at the Showcase of Immortals. With Sasha's future uncertain in WWE, Bayley could be set for a big push on the blue brand.

Bayley is another name who was a leading name in NXT, but she failed to continue the momentum on RAW. Bayley won the NXT Women's Championship, and she offered some quality bouts in the developmental brand. Bayley had an auspicious start on the main roster. The Hugger won the RAW Women's Title, but she lost her way after losing the belt.

Bayley could alter her fortune on the blue brand. The Hugger confronted Becky Lynch after arriving on SmackDown Live this week, and she could be aiming to win the most coveted women's prize of the blue brand in the future.

#1 Might not get a push: Andrade

Andrade
Andrade

Andrade is one underutilised superstar who has a gigantic potential to be a top guy of the company. However, he has not been used well after his main roster debut, and the scenario might not alter after the brand switch. Although Andrade was in the US Title picture for a long time, he did not get a singles bout at the Showcase of Immortals, and he participated in the Andre the Giant Battle Memorial match.

Andrade had huge success in NXT, and he was a leading superstar of the developmental brand. Due to his proficiency in the squared circle, he managed to produce memorable bouts with several opponents in NXT. He won the NXT Championship, and he held the belt 140 days before losing to Aleister Black.

Andrade failed to reach his potential on the main roster, and he has had substandard run after making his main roster debut. SmackDown Live is called the Land of Opportunity, but he was not used well.

Considering RAW is called the flagship show, and it has a bigger roster, Vince McMahon's billion company might not have a special plan for the former NXT Champion after the brand switch.

#1 Might get a push: Finn Balor

The Intercontinental Champion
The Intercontinental Champion

Finn Balor's arrival on the blue brand raised the interest of the WWE Universe, and the brand swap could open a new door for the current Intercontinental Champion. Balor was traded to the blue for the first time in his career as he had been part of RAW for three years. Balor won the Intercontinental Championship at the Show of Shows when he defeated Bobby Lashley.

Balor had colossal success after he made his main roster debut in 2016. He was drafted to RAW, and he became the maiden Universal Champion. Unfortunately, he had to relinquish the belt due to an injury, and it has not been the same after he returned from the injury.

The former Universal Champion has had an ordinary run in the last two years. However, he has gained significant momentum after becoming a two-time Intercontinental Champion, and he will be looking forward to continuing the good run on SmackDown Live. Balor is popular in WWE, and he could propel better on the blue brand which is known as the Land of Opportunity.
