An overall tag team record of one victory in four televised matches does not make for good reading on paper. However, in the context of Seth Rollins and Jason Jordan’s unusual alliance, it is difficult to say that their short-lived partnership was anything but successful.

In December 2017, the obnoxious Jordan had started to gain negative reactions from the WWE Universe, despite his status as a babyface, and he was placed in a storyline with Rollins due to an injury to Dean Ambrose.

It was clear from the very start that the duo would be unable to co-exist as a tag team, especially after Jordan failed to impress alongside Rollins & Ambrose in a losing effort against Samoa Joe & The Bar.

However, on the Christmas Day 2017 episode of Raw, Rollins & Jordan proved their doubters wrong when they surprisingly won the Raw Tag Team titles from The Bar.

They went on to lose their next two matches, including a tag title rematch against The Bar at the 2018 Royal Rumble, but the fact remains that they only teamed up four times and still won the tag titles!
