The Republic of Ireland has quite a few representatives in the WWE today. Becky Lynch is the sole female wrestler of Irish descent but there are 3 male wrestlers on the roster. Jordan Devlin, Finn Balor and Sheamus are the 3 Irish men on the current roster.

Devlin is signed to NXT UK and performs in other promotions as well while Sheamus and Balor are both main roster members. Finn Balor is the obvious choice here as he needs something to reignite his career. The Demon King was the very first Universal Champion when he won the title from Seth Rollins 2 years ago. He has maintained a presence on Raw ever since but hasn't done anything special.
If the Demon King is to participate in the World Cup he will surely be one of the favorites to win the entire thing and we will be glad if he does win.
