#2.Rise of McIntyre
No other RAW superstar is being protected as much as Drew McIntyre at this moment. This is evident from his entire run ever since his return to the main roster.
He is yet to be pinned clean in singles matches. He is a current Raw Tag Team Champion and will undoubtedly break his partnership with Dolph Ziggler for a singles run. He's rubbing shoulders with the entire main event scene of RAW.
Drew is involved in a story-line that involves all the belts in the division. Of course the Shield reunion has been doomed, with even WWE Creative having no idea what to do with this feud between the Shield, Braun Strowman, and the Dogs of War. A Dean Ambrose turn has been teased and teased and now everybody just got bored.
But there-in lied the masterstroke. Instead of a Shield breakup, what we got was even much better. Dissension among Braun and Ziggler was quite predictable given the story-line, but a picture perfect Claymore kick later, we now have a an intriguing feud on our hands. Two giants with believable character work, and Drew's incredible in-ring skills make for a riveting prospect.
On one hand I'm starting to believe Vince does see the untapped potential of McIntyre being a future Champion. This feud should elevate Drew and skyrocket him into Roman's yard for a fight between the War Dog and the Big Dog for the Universal Championship.
