Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown Live was a genuine shocker for The New Day, who were interrupted by none other than The Beast, Brock Lesnar. A challenge was made by Paul Heyman, on behalf of Lesnar. Kofi accepted the challenge, and the match is set for SmackDown Live's FOX debut on October 4. The segment ended with Kofi getting an F5.

It has been a long time since we saw Lesnar compete in a match on the blue brand. There was a time way back between 2002-04, when Lesnar was a regular on SmackDown. Let's take a look at 3 of his biggest wins on the show, plus 3 of his biggest losses.

#3 Biggest win: Brock Lesnar defeated Randy Orton (September 5, 2002)

Mere days after Lesnar had defeated The Rock to become the youngest WWE Champion in history, he met his OVW counterpart, Randy Orton, on an episode of SmackDown.

Although Orton tried his best, The Beast was too much for him to handle, and a thunderous F5 resulted in a victory for Lesnar. Their encounter 14 years later would be an even barbaric affair, as Lesnar would go on to destroy Orton in one of the most disturbing matches in SummerSlam history.

By this time, Brock Lesnar had turned heel again after betraying his best friend Kurt Angle. On this episode, the cards were heavily stacked against The Undertaker, who faced two behemoths in Lesnar and Show, in a Handicap Match.

In the final moments of the match, The Deadman got hold of his bike's chain, and Lesnar prepared to hit him with an F5. The move was countered though, and Taker hit Lesnar with the steel chain. He then hit The Big Show with the chain too, and pinned Lesnar for the big win.

#2 Biggest win: Brock Lesnar & John Cena defeated Kurt Angle & The Undertaker (September 20, 2003)

On the road to No Mercy 2003, two big matches on the PPV merged into a tag team bout on an episode of SmackDown. The hard-fought battle turned into a chaotic mess in the end, as Brock Lesnar prevented a three count after The Deadman hit a Chokeslam on John Cena.

As the referee put his attention to the brawl between Lesnar and Taker, Cena hit Angle with a chain, and picked up the win for his team. This wouldn't be the case at No Mercy though, as Angle managed to return the favor to Cena at the PPV.

This match took place a short while before Lesnar turned heel and joined hands with Vince McMahon. At this point, Team Angle had broken apart and Kurt Angle had aligned with Lesnar. The two Superstars teamed up with Mr. America, who was Hulk Hogan in a mask, and took on The Big Show and Haas & Benjamin.

As Hogan was about to put Show down, Mr. McMahon came out with an unconscious Zach Gowen. The distraction was enough for Show to hit Hogan with a Chokeslam and pick up the win.

#1 Biggest win: Brock Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle in an Iron Man Match for the WWE title (September 16, 2003)

Deemed by many as being one of the greatest matches in the history of the blue brand, this Iron Man Match was contested for the WWE title that Angle had won at Vengeance 2003, and retained at SummerSlam, despite Vince McMahon's efforts to prevent the same.

With the score at 5-4 in favor of Lesnar, Angle locked in an Ankle Lock on The Beast with around 20 seconds still left. It took everything Lesnar had to not give up to the submission move, and it paid off in the end, as Lesnar won the title after the countdown came to an end.

At WrestleMania 19, Brock Lesnar met Kurt Angle in the main event, with the WWE title on the line. The ending to the match saw Lesnar winning his 2nd WWE title, when he pinned Angle following an F5. A few weeks before this match, the two met on SmackDown with the WWE title on the line.

Angle switched with his brother at one point, which confused Lesnar while going for the pin. Lesnar was then distracted by Team Angle, and Angle took the opportunity to switch places again. A small package was enough for the pin, and Angle retained his WWE title.
