3 Biggest shockers WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw (April 15, 2019)

Last week's episode of Monday Night Raw followed the biggest PPV of the year, WrestleMania, and WWE's creative team displayed the amount of creativity they possessed when they delivered yet another underwhelming episode of Monday Night Raw.

The post-WrestleMania Raw is known for dishing out surprises and producing a great show, but that wasn't the case with the last episode.

Sure The Undertaker made an appearance, but that was it, there was no real intrigue aside from "It's the Undertaker, dude" and in my opinion, it was a waste of an appearance by The Phenom.

The episode also saw a Title vs Title match between Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston which got ruined due to interference from Sheamus and Cesaro.

Since this week's episode will see a Superstar Shakeup, the WWE will most probably make up for the bad episode and would make Raw this week very exciting.

So without further ado, let's take a look at 3 biggest shockers WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw.

#3 Dean Ambrose changes his mind

Ambrose said his good-byes last week!
Ambrose said his good-byes last week!

The Lunatic Fringe, Dean Ambrose, said goodbye to the WWE Universe last week and is all set to leave the company since his contract is expiring later this month.

Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns addressed the fans last week after Monday Night Raw went off the year where Ambrose got a few things out of his chest and offered his farewell remarks.

Ambrose is one of the biggest superstars the WWE currently has, and his departure will leave a huge void on the roster which will be really hard to fill, and with the part-time superstars getting past their prime, WWE would need a lot of star power to keep the show intact.

While it looked like Ambrose was written off the TV when Bobby Lashley attacked him last week, Ambrose is still advertised for a number of live events through to the end of April and is also scheduled to appear on this week's Raw in Montreal.

While the advertisement may just be WWE using him for the remaining dates in his contract, it could also mean he is staying with the company. Is Ambrose going to change his mind or this is just another week in his farewell tour? Let's just wait and watch.

#2 Aleister Black turns on Ricochet

Aleister Black!
Aleister Black!

Aleister Black and Ricochet are two phenomenal talents, but this tag-team stuff isn't clicking. I don't entirely blame them for the lack of intrigue, but that’s what happens when you promote wrestlers to the main roster without any storyline or character development.

WWE needs to be careful about how they introduce the talents that come from the developmental territory to the main roster. Black and Ricochet are already tearing through the mid-card and looking like just another guys. This random tag-team feud against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable is not advisable at this point, and WWE needs to do something to make the characters feel fresh.

Will Black turn on his partner Ricochet and head for the dark side which suits him better, or the two competitors are going to be stuck in the tag-team division for a long time to come? Let's tune in to Raw to find the answers.

#1: Brock Lesnar punishes Seth Rollins

Will the Beast make his presence felt?
Will the Beast make his presence felt?

The Kingslayer, Seth Rollins, became the conqueror when he slew the Beast at the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania 35.

Rollins conquered Brock Lesnar in the opening match of the biggest PPV of the year and earned yet another moniker. While there are different rumours swirling around as to why the match opened the show, but Paul Heyman did mention that Lesnar has somewhere else to be and the fact that the fight wasn't closing WrestleMania, he would rather get the match over and done with.

Brock Lesnar attacked Rollins mid-way as Seth was making his entrance and put him down with an F-5 before tossing him onto the announce table.

Lesnar worked over Rollins some more, but the Architect rebounded with a low-blow and then went on to get the pin after delivering his finishing maneuver a whopping three times.

While Rollins may have slain the Beast, Lesnar didn't suffer a clean loss as it came via a low-blow and this only means one thing: these two still have some unfinished business, and a huge rematch might take place later down the road to sell a big event and we could see the seeds being planted for the match in this upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw.
