3 Biggest things WWE could be planning for Monday Night Raw( 4 February, 2019)

The Royal Rumble event was an extraordinarily good show from top to bottom. Every match delivered in accordance with their hype, and there was not a single thing to complain about unless of course, you wanted Kenny Omega in the Men's Royal Rumble match.

Coming out of a great Royal Rumble PPV, last week's episode of Monday night RAW fired on all the cylinders.

Becky Lynch showed up to elect Ronda Rousey as her WrestleMania dance partner. Seth Rollins got decimated by the Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, and Dean Ambrose indicated some great character development moving forward.

The biggest question coming out of the show is what will the WWE have in store for us in this upcoming episode of RAW?

Here are the three biggest things WWE could be planning for Monday Night RAW.

#3. Planting seeds for a worked-shoot storyline with Dean Ambrose

Will Triple H be his target?
Will Triple H be his target?

Last week Dean Ambrose interrupted an ongoing conversation between Rollins and Triple H.

After week's of underwhelming segments and a wasted heel turn, Dean Ambrose fired back with a great promo that suits well with his character. And when it started to look like Dean Ambrose will get back on the track, it was heavily rumoured that the former Intercontinental champion would be leaving the company.

It was taken as a grain of salt until WWE's official website broke the news that Ambrose will not be renewing his contract.

Now, this is not the type of protocol the WWE usually follows when announcing the departure of a certain superstar. This unusual step taken by the WWE has made us believe that Ambrose walking out of the company is work and is done purely for a storyline purpose.

If you watched RAW this past week, you saw Ambrose sitting on a chair trying to address the crowd before getting interrupted by Nia Jax. If the WWE is working the fans or even trying to make most of the time left for Dean in the company, they could design a CM Punk -esque worked shoot angles and the seeds can be planted on the upcoming episode.

#2. Seth Rollins searches for Brock Lesnar

Will Rollins get his revenge?
Will Rollins get his revenge?

Ever since Roman Reigns' departure from the company, the WWE has been in need for its next top face. Seth Rollins strikes as the biggest name that could take Roman's place, and Vince McMahon has already put the machine behind him.

Rollins won the Royal Rumble match by last eliminating Braun Strowman and is set to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Last week's episode of Monday Night RAW culminated with Seth Rollins taking 6 F5's from the Beast Incarnate. While it made Rollins look weak, it also cemented that Rollins will not stay down even after taking Lesnar's best shots.

The WWE needs to remind their fans that Rollins is the guy, and have him bounce back from the attack and take out the Beast.

If they want to make it look like Rollins can hang with Lesnar at WrestleMania, it makes sense for the company to give Rollins the upper hand on Lesnar before the biggest show of the year.

I'd suggest that WWE should have Rollins open the show and call out Lesnar. Lesnar, of course, doesn't come out which leads to Rollins trying to get to Lesnar all night and then finally does at the end of the show.

#1. Ronda Rousey's heel turn

Becky Lynch has set her sight on Rousey!
Becky Lynch has set her sights on Rousey!

Post - Royal Rumble RAW almost turned out to be a disaster for Ronda Rousey. She started with an awkward promo and got lost in it. The situation got so dire that the WWE had to send in Bayley earlier than she was supposed to be.

The crowd started mercilessly booing her as soon as they realised Becky Lynch is her dance partner at the grandest stage of them all. Rousey as a babyface is never going to work against Becky and her time as a white-bread babyface on RAW should come to an end now.

The fans are starting to see through her one-dimensional character, and it's about time she goes back to being a badass heel she was in the UFC.

The fans will continue to shower her with the negative reaction as we get closer to WrestleMania. Since the WWE realised the negative reaction, hopefully, they won't pretend like the crowd reactions like this are not a big deal, and do the right thing by turning Ronda Rousey heel.
