3 Biggest Things WWE made clear on the RAW before SummerSlam

It was a good show
It was a good show

It was the last RAW before SummerSlam and the company was eager to put the best foot forward. The Red Brand put on one hell of a show with some blockbuster matches. While some new matches were announced for SummerSlam, there was also a title change.

Some legendary Superstars were part of the show this week. Trish Stratus teamed up with Natalya to take on the team of Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch. Kurt Angle was present on RAW this week as it took place in his hometown; however, the Olympic hero was attacked by The Fiend. Goldberg made a shocking appearance and he is set to face Dolph Ziggler on Sunday.

Elsewhere on the show, Brock Lesnar dismantled an injured Seth Rollins. Roman Reigns was mysteriously attacked again as a car smashed into his vehicle in the parking lot area. Andrade beat Rey Mysterio and The Women's Tag Team Titles changed hands.

It was an exciting show and every segment was noteworthy. Let's check three things WWE made clear on the latest episode of RAW.

#3 It's not an end for Rey Mysterio and Andrade

Since the return of Rey Mysterio last year, Andrade has been a primary opponent of the former WWE Champion. Last week, they restarted the rivalry when Andrade tried to rip off the mask of Rey Mysterio, only to be stopped by Ricochet.

Following the incident last week, the two men squared off on the Red Brand this week. Without a shadow of a doubt, they delivered one of the best matches of the show. Meanwhile, Andrade also tried to rip off the mask again, and was still unsuccessful. With assistance from Zelina Vega, the former NXT Champion defeated Rey Mysterio this week.

A match between Rey Mysterio and Andrade could be added to the SummerSlam card. Since Zelina Vega's distraction helped Andrade to pin Mysterio, it will not be surprising if Vega gets banned from ringside. Moreover, the mask has been the focal point of this feud and they could face each other in a Mask vs Hair Match.

#2 Brock Lesnar could squash Seth Rollins

Prior to SummerSlam, things are not looking good for Seth Rollins. The Beastslayer was brutally assaulted last week as Lesnar unleashed his inner beast. The former Universal Champion ate vicious F-5s, even in the backstage area. After the merciless beatdown, Rollins had the courage to show up on RAW this week.

Due to the beat down last week, Rollins was limping but he had a steel chair in his hands. Rollins was struggling to get in the ring and he tried to attack the WWE Universal Champion with the chair. Unsurprisingly, it was an easy task for Lesnar to take down an injured Rollins. Apart from the chair shots, Rollins also ate another F-5 on his injured ribs.

Judging by the segment, Rollins will have a mountain to climb in Toronto. Considering we are just five days away from the show, the Beastslayer is unlikely to recover from the two consecutive assaults. it will not be surprising if Lesnar squashes Rollins at SummerSlam.

#1 Samoa Joe will not face Roman Reigns at SummerSlam

Reigns' mysterious attacker has garnered the attention of the WWE Universe. Last week, the Big Dog survived an accident when he was nearly crushed under a big steel structure. While it looked like a mishap, the recent segment on RAW proved that it wasn't. Reigns' car was hit by another car in the parking lot area. The attacker drove away after his attempt to take Reigns out of the picture.

It seems very likely that this mysterious attacker will fight Roman Reigns at the Biggest Party of the Summer. Many people assumed that Samoa Joe was the attacker last week; Michael Cole also mentioned that the majority of the fans, in a recent poll, believe Joe was the perpetrator. Since Joe and Reigns have been involved in a feud, it was not wrong to accuse Joe.

Joe was present in the parking lot area when Roman's car was hit by the attacker. The chances of him being Reigns' SummerSlam opponent were diminished because Joe was not behind the wheel. The Big Dog is likely to face a new opponent and it should be a big name. Only time will tell who this attacker really is.
