Kurt Angle's ankle lock was always seen as one of the submissions that many stars were unable to get out of, but last night on Raw, Drew McIntyre proved that times have definitely changed. It was Angle's first match on Raw in more than 12 years and he was able to lock in the ankle lock on McIntyre, but he was able to fight out.

As the video below shows, McIntyre sold the ankle injury for a few seconds before he lifted Angle up for the Angle Slam and then went on to lock in the Ankle Lock on Angle himself where he wrapped his legs around the WWE Hall of Famer in order to force him to tap. Somehow McIntyre went from being unable to put pressure on his left leg to be able to use it to pick up the win in a matter of seconds, which is quite impressive.
