Braun Strowman began a story line earlier this year where he pursued Cesaro and Sheamus's Raw Tag Team Championship. He won a tag team battle royal to determine the number one contender for the titles single-handedly, creating a headache for Raw General Manager Kurt Angle.

Not only was this an insult to the entire Raw tag team roster which is loaded with some great talent, but also resulted in a story line in which Strowman was forced to find a partner to enable him to compete for the championships.

Many fans speculated that his partner would be either Elias, Finn Balor, or even a former Hall of Famer, but that wasn’t the case. At WrestleMania 34, he chose a young fan in attendance named Nicholas to be his partner.

Nicholas, the 10-year-old son of referee John Cone, and Braun Strowman defeated The Bar to win the Raw Tag Team titles.

Not only was this a slap to the faces of two of WWE’s best wrestlers Sheamus and Cesaro and the other tag teams of Raw, but was also an insult to Braun Strowman who won his first ever championship in wrestling only to relinquish it the next night.
