In the modern era, scripted promos are a reality of the WWE. However, both fans and wrestlers are vehemently opposed to them. Most fans agree that scripted promos stifle a superstar’s creativity and do not sound as genuine as a superstar’s own words.

One of the people most affected by the scripted promos is Seth Rollins. Seth has shown that he is a good speaker and really charismatic when given the chance; the scripted promos are robbing him of the chance to truly shine on the microphone.

The only way the WWE can solve this is if they allowed him to cut unscripted promos and to speak from the heart. If they do this, there will be a noticeable change in the quality of his segments, contributing to a more 'cool' image.

Who knows, we might just get the next Austin 3:16 promo if Seth is given creative license.
